High potential and gifted education

At Duranbah Public School, the potential of every learner is our foremost priority. Recognising that many students possess high potential, we are dedicated to fostering and cultivating this potential into meaningful and impactful outcomes. Our commitment encompasses the development of high potential across four key domains: creative, intellectual, physical, and social-emotional.

Our school provides a stimulating and supportive environment designed to nurture each student’s curiosity and creativity. We promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and innovative expression through a rigorous and enriching curriculum. By engaging students in inquiry-based learning and authentic projects, we facilitate the growth of empathy, collaboration, and resilience. This approach enables students to explore their interests deeply and extend their learning capabilities.
